One of our twins struggled (and wasn’t interested) in reading as he went through primary school. Getting him to read a book was a struggle. His grade 4 teacher would out books on the interactive whiteboard. And who was front and centre to read it from there? And from there developed his love of reading. Sometimes it just needs to be in a different format… although his brother loved traditional books. (maybe that’s why he wasn’t fussed on reading because his brother was). Don’t get us wrong. We love libraries and books. We also love anything that will encourage kids to read.
